| Cassonya Carter Pugh overcomes stroke to find joy in music
Cassonya Carter Pugh is the queen of quotes. Her office bulletin boards are covered with inspiring words. When she hears something on the radio that moves her, she pulls over, fumbles in her purse for her little pink-and-green notebook and jots it down. They're sometimes long and weighty, full of meaning. But the license plate on her red Chevy Trailblazer bears just one word: MIRACLE. "I fought hard for that license plate," she says. Pugh, 44, is admissions coordinator for Grand Valley State University's Kirkhof College of Nursing. She works with students entering a hot and competitive field. .
Extraordinary Stock Newsletter Maintains 100% Perfection Year-to-Date
Where the BullTrade regular portfolio left off in 2007, it has started in 2008 -- on a hot streak. With a 73.6% gain in 2007, the BullTrade Newsletter portfolio has now averaged an 87% annual gain over the last ten years. Notwithstanding a chaotic market, 2007 performed well, with only 4 losers out of the 51 positions sold. And now in 2008, with many of the major indices down 5-10% or more in less than two months of trading, the BullTrade Newsletter portfolio has flourished. Nine positions were sold in January without a loss, including double-digit gains in Priceline and Amazon , which were both short positions held only for four days. February has brought even better results, with a 30% gain in shares of Discover Financial and an 11.7% gain in Research in Motion. There are currently seven open positions in the newsletter portfolio, all of which sit in positive territory as of Wednesday's trading.
